A local IT person who sets up AI for Inland Empire businesses, explains it in plain English, and tells you when the answer is “you don’t need this.”
The person behind it
I’m Phil. I’ve spent 25 years running IT for local businesses: desktop fleets, servers, phone systems, backups, and the reports somebody rebuilds by hand every Monday because no one ever automated them. Rancho Cucamonga is home, and the Inland Empire is where I work.
I started AI Automations IE because of a pattern I kept seeing. Every small business owner I know is getting pitched AI by out-of-town agencies with template websites and a monthly retainer, and nobody local is showing up to actually set the thing up, wire it into the tools they already run, and explain what it is doing. That gap is the whole business.
The first product was an AI phone assistant, because that was what owners kept asking me about: calls going unanswered after hours, on weekends, and during the rush, and every missed call being a job that went to somebody else.
How I work
Set up, not sold
You get a working system, configured against your actual phone number, your actual calendar, and your actual tools. Not a slide deck and not a login to something you have to figure out yourself.
Plain English, always
If I cannot explain what a system does and why it costs what it costs, in language you would use with a customer, then it is not ready for you to buy. Ask me to explain anything twice.
Local, in person
I live here. When something breaks I can come look at it, and you are talking to the person who built it rather than to a support queue in another time zone.
What I will tell you honestly
Some of what gets marketed as AI automation is not worth buying. A process that runs twice a month, or one that changes every time it runs, is usually cheaper left alone. A free fifteen-minute call is long enough for me to say so, and I would rather say it early than bill you to find out.
There are no annual contracts and no mystery pricing. You will know what a thing costs before you agree to it, and you will know what “done” means before we start.
Where things stand right now
AI Automations IE is new, and I am being straightforward about that rather than dressing it up. The first businesses I work with get the build at cost, because I am after local case studies and a real reference more than I am after margin on the first few jobs. If you are comfortable being early, that trade is a good one for you.
